About Asbury Church & Rice Bowls Family Mission Project
When you feed orphaned kids, great things happen!
Rice Bowls partners with loving, grass-roots children’s homes around the world to cover 100% of their delicious, locally sourced meals. The homes can then focus on loving, teaching, protecting, and providing for the children in their care.
Orphaned kids grow up to become chefs, software engineers, welders, doctors, teachers, ministers, marathon runners, and flat-out awesome human beings!
Be a small part of something big!
Every single one of the kids that Rice Bowls serves is a hero who has already overcome so much. Rice Bowls provides bite-size opportunities for people like us to help these heroes (and those who care for them) reach their potential.
Get the entire family involved!
Starting June 30, we'll provide you with the small bowls (pick them up after each service) at no cost. Take them home and encourage your family to drop any loose change you have into these bowls (dollars will fit too!). Bring them back to Asbury Church by July 21. One full bowl feeds a child for an entire month!

The funds from Rice Bowls supply much needed food to a strong network of loving, Christian Orphanages. As a faith-based non-profit, they work directly with these orphanages, which are currently in India, Haiti, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zambia, Honduras, Nicaragua, Philippines and South Africa, where the malnutrition crisis, as well as other factors, have greatly marginalized the lives of children.
