Renewal Kids are partnering with Rice Bowls to feed orphaned children around the world. Your child will bring home a 'rice bowl' bank this week (October 7th). Please work with your child to fill the bowl with change. On Sunday morning, October 28th we will have a celebration and open the banks to count the money, which will then be sent to Rice Bowls. About Rice Bowls Mission Project Renewal Kids

Sunday mornings in Renewal Kids we have been learning about the early church and how after the Holy Spirit came, believers went out to share the Gospel and make disciples. One key point of these lessons is that we need to care for peoples' physical, as well as their spiritual, hunger because this is what Jesus did. 

The kids will have an opportunity to care for orphaned kids all around the world by donating funds to their orphanages through Rice Bowls. Rice Bowls provides all the food for the orphanages they support, which frees up funds for other needs. Rice Bowls relies on the generosity of people to fund their support. 

We encourage you to use this opportunity to teach your kids the value of caring and sharing for others' needs in whatever way the Lord leads your family to help. The "rice bowl" banks are a tangible way for your child and your family to remember the needs and to pray for the kids. Thank You!
